Scheduled Notification
Users like (❤) or Retweet a brand’s Call-to-Action (CTA) Tweet to get an instant opt-in notification Tweet, then a scheduled notification Tweet at a later date.
- The CTA invites the user to like or Retweet the Tweet to receive a scheduled notification Tweet in the coming days. The CTA Tweet is created and published in Arrow then promoted (via ads.twitter.com) to the user. For more information, check out Twitter's how to Create a Tweet engagements campaign page.
- The user likes or Retweets the CTA Tweet to opt-in for the scheduled notification Tweet.
- Arrow instantly responds to the user with an @mention to confirm their opt-in, triggering a notification (pursuant to the user’s settings). All automated responses are sent as promoted-only @mentions.
- Arrow automatically sends a scheduled notification Tweet at each opted-in user beginning at the designated start time. Tweets are sent at a throttled pace (generally, 2 Tweets per second) to ensure the account is not rate limited.
