Scheduled Notification Tweet

A scheduled notification Tweet is automatically sent to each opted-in user at the designated start time. Tweets are sent at a throttled pace (2 Tweets per second) to ensure the Brand Account is not rate limited.

Content Requirements

  • Scheduled notification Tweets will always begin with a user’s @handle; you will see @HandleToReplyTo as a placeholder in the scheduled notification Tweet preview as you draft your message.
  • Do not @mention any other accounts in the scheduled notification Tweet without written approval from the account owner. NOTE: an account that is included in a scheduled Notification Tweet as an @mention will receive ALL scheduled notification Tweets sent to opted in users, flooding the account’s Tweet feed.
  • Media can be added to the scheduled notification Tweet as a video, gif, image, or website card by selecting one of the 4 media icons.
For more details on the allowable media specifications, visit Twitter's   Advertiser creative specifications  page.

280 Characters Max

  • The mention of @HandleToReplyTo counts as 17 characters, which leaves 263 characters for the rest of the copy. The available character count is updated as the scheduled notification Tweet copy is inserted, along with the media.
  • Any URL added to the scheduled notification Tweet copy will count as 24 characters, regardless of actual length.
